O’BAO is a brand of Elekea Ltd and has been on the market since 2015 but was relaunched with improved packaging, brand design, and formulations in December 2021.

O’BAO is proudly produced in Kenya and has established its own Baobab supply chain from farm (and wild) to shelf. This allows for a sustainable expansion of the harvest and fair income for the farmers. O’BAO strives to source its ingredients from within Africa, trying to stick to local Kenyan suppliers as much as possible.

Assisting local farmers through training and support, O’BAO seeks to boost the local economy and to create transparency in sourcing and tracing the ingredients.
